Douc Languars are found in the hills of Vietnam. It is estimated that there are only six hundred left in the wild. They are very endangered.

I am lucky enough to have a breeding couple as nieghbors at the Oregon Zoo here in Portland.

This monkey was made with a combination of armature and disks joints to allow him to pose in postions that are typical to the languar.
